5-6:30pm: Technique a la Sofia Come and work on getting your dance more elegant, comfortable and connected (all levels welcome). Sofia will solo teach this workshop.

Saturday, April 12th

11am-12:15pm: Technique II a la Sofia

This workshop will focus on good technique for ochos and giros for both leaders and followers

(beg/int and above) Sofia will solo teach this workshop.

12:30-1:45pm: Details of the embrace and Connection with your partner (beg/int and above)

2-3:15pm: Sacadas (int. and above)

Sunday, April 13th

12pm-1:15pm: Exploring different qualities of movement (int. and above)

1:30-2:45pm: Musicality - developing a deeper relationship between sound and movement (int. and above)

All workshops will be held at Tango Berretín April 11th-13th, 2025

About Sofia Saborido:

A delicate yet intense dancer from Buenos Aires, Sofia has an extensive background in theatre, ballet, modern and jazz dance. The deep musicality and quality of movement in her dancing is based on a refined and sensitive connection. Being the great grand daughter of Enrique Saborido, a legendary dancer, musician and composer of tangos like La Morocha, Felicia and others, she was literally born with tango in her veins. In 2006 she placed in the tango championship of Buenos Aires. Since then she dedicates her time on teaching and performing mainly in Europe but also in United States, Asia and Argentina.
